Single Review: Fossway's 'Mannequin'
The toon lads are back with a new release this month, shortly after joining forces with Pillar Artists' Artist Development Deal.
Following the release of their track ‘Parasite’ earlier in the year, this new tune seems to indicate a different stance that the lads are taking...
This time around, Fossway have created an intriguing, bluesy, rock track with slick guitar licks and riffs.
'Mannequin' is reminiscent of the likes of Indie greats such as The Kooks, as their vocals groove through the progressive and impressive guitar licks.
Truth be told this is an extremely promising track which will bring more attention to the still upcoming indie rock band.
This smooth and melodic track is simply rolling in rhythmic swagger and slick attitude, a take on rock and roll that sweats out powerful guitar riffs alongside a wholesome beat.
All the while, the verses spray a dose of punk-ish sway along with the rolling guitar that drives this track in fiery lunges and completes the eager beat.
This track flows perfectly and is everything you would expect from a great upcoming band such as Fossway. Once again the band has managed to keep the tempo of the track steady while delivering a fond and almost reminiscent reminder of how good they truly are.
Interested? Well they’re touring mid November to the likes of Dunfermline, Newcastle, Leeds and York alongside a Sheffield date on December 19th. The least you can do is get tickets because the lads deserve it.
