Single Review: Headclouds' 'Never Will'

Newcastle’s Headclouds have seen huge successes already since emerging in early 2017, including national radio plays and a host of successful live shows all across the country.
And it looks like their popularity will only grow with the release of their latest track 'Never Will'.

The five-piece band from Heaton will have your head well and truly afloat with this brand new bittersweet single, full of shimmering guitar melodies and an irresistibly head-wiggling chorus. The instantly hooking shoe-gaze melodies of 'Never Will' are so dreamily hypnotic that despite the brutally candid slacker-love lyrics about a dead-end relationship you can’t help but feel elated.

In fact it makes you positively sympathetic as you find yourself unashamedly singing along to the “why-wha-a-a-a-aye” chorus, which so superbly chimed out by lead-singer Steven with his hopeful yet melancholy tones. Full of stunning harmonies and sirening guitar riffs Never Will is a guaranteed anthem for the warmer months to chill out in the sun to.

With a plethora of exciting live shows scheduled for the coming months be sure to give Headclouds a follow on the various social media platforms, especially as we have a feeling these guys are big ones to watch for the coming year.
And of course 'Never Will' is available on all major streaming sites now for your listening pleasure.
