18th Aug - Day In. Day Out. Festival

This micro-festival in the heart of Stockton is set to celebrate synth-influenced local acts in style.
Taking place across 3 stages, the line-up includes many North East favourites during the day long festivities including the might synth-pop trio Twist Helix, the outrageously bouncing Be Quiet. Shout Loud!, alternative hip-hop act Ceiling Demons, rocking Serinette and many more.
A fantastic event with a real difference by drawing attention to the versatility of synth elements in all genres of music.

18th Aug - The Old Pink House / Llovers / Penguin

One of the most highly anticipated gigs of the summer for any North East music lover, synth-pop outfit The Old Pink House are about to release their debut EP in the only way possible: with their biggest headline show yet. Their catchy tunes, full rhythmic beats, roaring riffs and melancholy lyrics have been quickly grabbing the nation’s attention so this may be one of the last chances to see these chaps up close and personal when they play Newcastle’s Cluny. Along for the ride on this sizzling Saturday night are two equally promising local acts: the spell-binding dream-rockers Llovers and quirky alt-rockers Penguin.

19th Aug - Holly Rees & Matt Dunbar

If you missed the opening night of their Northern Tour in Newcastle on the 11th, here is another chance to catch this double whammy headline show featuring the fabulous Holly Rees & Matt Dunbar. Both are incredibly talented singer-songwriters full of heartfelt acoustic and folk vibes that will create a magical atmosphere at the cosy Surf Café. And with both artists launching their brand new EPs you can expect plenty of new tunes alongside their fan-favourites to provide the perfect atmosphere for a chilled Sunday evening.

Since emerging in 2017, broody rockers Lhymes have been releasing a string of captivating tracks that vary from upbeat pop grooves to heart-wrenching dramatic low-fi. So it comes as no surprise that the Darlington four-piece are now ready for their first headline show – and where better for it than the mighty O2 Academy in Newcastle! Support comes from no less than 5 North East based indie and rock acts: The Covasettes, The Jet Reds, Saints of War, The Circus Villains and Sonder Minds. An incredible package of talent to get your ears onto pronto!

23rd Aug - Save The Bees / Blast Beach

Emerging Indie-rockers Save The Bees return to the Globe to showcase their brand new EP 'Shower Thoughts', which is due for release on the 6th of August. Having previously packed out this venue twice we expect this to be another cracking night full of grooving tunes and a great atmosphere to boot at this live music supporting bar. Support comes from melodic rockers Blast Beach who have been on the scene since 2017 and are looking to gain momentum with their immersive sound. And what’s even better, the show is free, so no excuses for missing out!

24th Aug - Edge Of Obsidian / Chain The Phoenix / Incantus / VOID
