Great Waves - Haircut
Released: 13th July

With punchy riffs, lush vocal harmonies and lyrics that say it like it is, Great Waves’ new indie-rock track Haircut is taking us one step closer to finding true happiness. Forget fancy clothes and shed loads of money, this candid tune by the loveable five-piece will make you rock out and groove along with a smile on your face. What more could you possibly want?

Michael Gallagher - All Night
Released: 17th July
Trademark indie-rock grooves and uniquely gravely vocals make 'All Night' an instant toe-tapper  that is hard to get out of your head. Relatable themes of late night fights with the one you love make this a superbly impressive release by youthful Hartlepool singer-songwriter Michael Gallagher and his talented band.

Deep.Sleep - Orange English Sun
Released 25th June
This ultimate summer anthem by Newcastle’s indie four-piece Deep.Sleep has been an instant favourite since it’s release thanks to its memories of adolescent days spent at the beach and a super catchy chorus.

The Escapades - Stay

Capturing the essence of the perfect indie anthem, this latest track by the Escapades would not sound out of place as part of the set of festival headline act. With plenty of clever tempo changes, mighty riffs and a bouncing chorus that has to be sung along to at full pelt, 'Stay' proves how much potential this newly emerging Newcastle band pack. Mark our words!
