Fossway to join Pillar Artists as part of their 'Artist Development Deal'
Following a sold-out headline show at The Cluny to launch their single ‘Parasite’ a few months ago, Fossway have now announced an artist development deal with Pillar Artists.
The North East based promotion and management organisation already supports artists such as Deep.Sleep and Sarah Connolly, and has also made a considerable contribution to our local music scene through numerous gigs throughout the region.
Pillar artists stated that, “as the first band to join our new programme of artist development, Fossway will be an exciting learning curve as we'll be catering for their unique style and sound. We're looking forward to the exciting opportunities currently being developed behind the scenes”.
The Indie/Alt-Rock band, have made plans to tour their live set further afield while also releasing new music, such as ‘Mannequin’, which is set to be released in the near future.
When asked what the deal means for the band, Fossway said: “working with Pillar Artists will give us a big push in the right direction as we look to further develop our music and reach new audiences”.
The four-piece, consisting of Daniel Mason (guitar and vocals), Harry Lowery (drums and vocals), John Lennox (bass and vocals) and Jacob Herrington (guitar), have established themselves within the North East music scene as promising up and comers after previously selling out the O2 Academy and The Cluny, as well as sharing the stage alongside names such as JUDAS.
The 24th of October will see the band headline a single launch show at Head of Steam, Newcastle with support from Luke D’Apolito, Great Waves and Kieran Taylor.
