Hit the North is back for 2019 with arguably the best line up yet!
With a mixture of new and established acts taking to the numerous stages across Newcastle, determining who to see on the day is no enviable task … but we’re here to help!
Last year saw Brit Awards 2019 Critics Choice winner Sam Fender perform a surprise set to kick off proceedings last year, proving Hit The North has a finger firmly on the pulse of the scene and who deserves your attention.
Starting from 1pm and heading late in to the bank holiday weekend, Hit The North has stages curated by some of the best promoters around including This Feeling, Amazing Radio and Gigs North East.

Country star Catherine McGrath is sure to be playing to a packed out audience having recently signed with Warner Bros Records and having a top 20 album to her name, she is in good company as Island Records’ Lauren Aquilina will take to the O2 Academy 2 stage as well as sets from Local’s Dylan Cartlidge and Avalanche Party who will be closing the festival over at Riverside.
